Artist El Anatsui converts found materials into a new type of media that lies between sculpture and painting, combining aesthetic traditions from his birth country of Ghana, his home in Nigeria, and the global history of abstraction.

The artist will discuss his work in conversation with Chika Okeke-Agulu, associate professor in the department of art and archaeology at Princeton University.
