James Siena Artist Talk + Award Presentation

JAMES SIENA, painter, BFA '79 / New York

Artist talk followed by presentation of the Cornell Eissner Artist of the Year Award.  Siena will discuss his professional life as an artist, his time at Cornell as an undergraduate, and his thoughts on the current art world.
The events are presented by the Cornell Council for the Arts, the Cornell Committee on the Arts, and the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art.  Mr. Siena was nominated for the award by the Department of Art at Cornell, in May 2009. A reception will follow / free and open to the public
