Zivkovic capitalizes on his Department of Architecture lab’s large robotic saw to construct an elegant rounded sculpture of log parts recycled from Cornell’s Arnot Teaching and Research Forest in an exciting display of the interfaces of design, ecology, art, and architecture. This installation brings together the promise of futuristic, robotic design with the prolongation of natural duration.
