Guest composer Martin Bresnick presents his music. Presently Professor of Composition and Coordinator of the Composition Department at the Yale School of Music, Bresnick is recognized as an influential teacher of composition. His works, from chamber and symphonic music to film scores and computer music, are performed throughout the world. Bresnick has been awarded many prizes and commissions: the first Charles Ives Living Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, Rome Prize, Berlin Prize, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and a Koussevitzky Commission.
