Cornell Cinema, 104 Willard Straight Hall
November 17, 2 PM
Cornell Cinema presents Herbert Brenon's Peter Pan (1924) with live musical accompaniment by harpist Leslie McMichael. Starring Anna May Wong, Betty Bronson, and Ernest Torrence, Brenon’s film is the first of the many cinematic versions of the Peter Pan story, and it remains arguably the best, expertly capturing the innocent and enthralling magic of the tale. Harpist Leslie McMichael has been wowing audiences with her original score for the film since she premiered it in Seattle in 2007.
