The CCA supports numerous arts-related events and projects each year.. Documentation from grant-supported projects completed and presented, artist award presentations, and CCA-initiated projects are archived, including exhibitions, performances, lectures, individual artist and department-generated projects, concerts, installations, and publications.
Listed below is a sample of projects supported by the CCA from 2001 to 2017.
Internationally acclaimed animator Bill Plympton will conduct a master class and introduce his latest feature film, IDIOTS & ANGELS, and short film, THE COW WHO WANTED TO BE A HAMBURGER.
MASTER CLASS: February 16, 6:00 - 7:30PM, Film Forum, Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts, Collegetown, Ithaca, NY. Plympton will discuss the artistic (design, layouts, storyboards, writing, editing, etc.) and business (budgets, funding, festivals, etc.) sides of animation, present a live drawing demonstration, show a selection of his recent shorts and give each student a free drawing.
