Multimedia Performance
A multi-media performance, this project imagines Duration: Passage, Persistence, Survival by extending a decade long conversation explored in pieces such as Bop: The North Star— a 2009 multi-media theatre workshop performance directed by Emilie Stark-Menneg and based on poems by Lyrae Van Clief-Stefanon.
Measured/The Clover Project springs from tensions of an urgent present moment marked by breakdowns and failures in communication between women. Through poetry, video, music and performance we are hoping to give form to the formless edge of violence, hoping to give justice to the body and the voice, and hoping to maintain love across volatile racial lines.
