In my work I strive to incorporate visual and textual elements in a shared narrative. The illustrations center around some historical and mainly satirical content, confronting the viewer with scenes of absurdity or discomfort. My preferred media are pen and ink and digital illustration.

The subject of the narratives varies significantly, however the story is always paramount. The images, and their paired text, must combine to tell a cohesive story. The impact and understanding of the piece is based on an allegorical understanding of the work.
