suddenly revealing itself: this continuous mesh of back end spaces 

first, we discovered the private golf course, which somehow extends miles

behind and between all this stuff that had floated independently before 

it is so vast and brilliant, how has it not always been appearing?

i don’t know how it collapses the way it does, whenever we leave

there’s also a rabbinical school (we never noticed it before!)

directly above the center of town and a parking garage at the foot of

a cell tower that feels like a beach at the end of the world.
