Kelechi Mpamaugo
Kelechi Mpamaugo, works primarily through photography and videography to explore the inner workings of identity on a philosophical level. She uses identity as a means of telling and/or exposing common narratives and ambiguities that are interwoven in the threads of life. As a first generation women of color, these narratives often most closely reflect those who identify with those communities but not exclusively. She is a nonfiction storyteller who uses her art as a mode of language and communication with anyone looking to understand more about themselves.
