Annabel Keelty is a mixed media artist born in Baltimore, Maryland. Her worcenters around gender and intimacy through hyper-feminine and overly saturated visuals, and focuses on creating pieces that encapsulate an otherworldly, aesthetic driven atmosphere outside of reality. Keelty is inspired by pop-culture and social standards of acceptability, and attempts to incorporate the established visual identities of quintessentially gendered objects to examine the broader role of gender and the toll it takes on individual identity and sexuality.
