Surviving the High is a short documentary film that explores the evolving approach to drug policy and addiction in Ithaca, New York. Inspired by the city's controversial 2016 municipal drug policy plan, the film profiles the novel work being done to address the heroin crisis in Ithaca, and the stories of those affected by it. Immediately following the screening, a Q&A will be held with the film's director and those interviewed for the film to allow audience members to ask questions about the film and the issues it highlights.
