Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art
The History of Art Majors' Society, a student organization at Cornell University, will present its annual student-curated exhibition of selected works from the Museum's collection. This year's show theme for the exhibition is the concept of space in visual culture and fine arts, inspired by the recent transformations on campus, in particular, the construction of Milstein Hall and the new wing at the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art. The group will select prints and photographs from the Museum's collection to investigate contrasts and negations of space in the modern, abstract and less tangible world in which we live. A catalogue will document the exhibition.
