Creative projects listed under EVENTS + EXHIBITIONS are funded in part with a grant from the Cornell Council for the Arts.
The CCA awards grants to Cornell Faculty, Departments, Programs, Student Organizations, and Student Artists to support creative art projects that engage any singular art form or any mixture of art forms, and may be exhibited, presented, or performed in on-campus as well as off-campus venues.

Department of Art Professor Michael Ashkin, Department of Music Lecturer Annie Lewandowski, and former Department of Music Lecturer Tim Feeney will be celebrating the release of their DVD Depot/Centralia/Tiber with a live performance and screening at the Cornell’s Johnson Museum of Art. Made possible with the generous support of the CCA, Depot/Centralia/Tiber features works filmed by Ashkin at a decommissioned military depot in upstate New York, in a Central Pennsylvania mining town, and in Rome along the Tiber river. Lewandowski and Feeney provide soundtracks improvised on piano/electronics (Lewandowski) and percussion (Feeney).
At present, the trio’s collaboration has resulted in three performances of their work at Cornell and a performance/workshop at Oberlin College in Ohio. Plans for 2013-2014 include performances at the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa and in New York City.
