STUDENT INTERNSHIPS AT CCA

Arts Administrative Intern

The Cornell Council for the Arts (CCA) seeks a part-time, highly motivated mature student with a strong interest in the arts, a desire to serve the creative community, and a “can-do” attitude. 

The CCA Biennial will feature internationally recognized artists and some of Cornell's top artists, designers, and researchers.

Responsibilities will include:  Making weekly content updates, adapting WordPress functionality to meet organizational goals, researching and recommending 3rd party software for incorporation into website, testing website across mobile, tablet and desktop operating systems, and developing content entry guidelines for the organization. 

This will provide valuable experience for technically trained students in information science, computer science and related fields who are interested in practical application in the arts. 

Marketing and Social Media Intern

The Cornell Council for the Arts (CCA) is looking for a highly motivated, mature student interested in a career in arts administration to provide skilled social media, marketing, and public relations support for the organization. The Marketing and Social Media Intern will work with the Program Coordinator to develop and execute marketing strategies and maintain a social media presence for the CCA.

Responsibilities will include:  Assist with strategizing/documenting marketing and social media efforts, make content updates to CCA web and social media sites, design web images, research/maintain audience and press database, and other administrative tasks as assigned. This position will provide valuable experience in arts administration/social media marketing and be a good opportunity to gain practical knowledge of the field outside the classroom.

Curatorial Intern

The Cornell Council for the Arts (CCA) is looking for a highly motivated, mature student with a passion for contemporary art to provide skilled graphic design, photography, and social media support for the organization.

Responsibilities will include: Document installations and events, design promotional materials, and maintain social media presence for the CCA.
